Maryhill Housing Association appointed Karen to work with the committee and staff on a number of change management issues around developing our Vision, Purpose and Values, and reviewing our strategic objectives. Her friendly and engaging style allowed people to become fully involved in the process of positively addressing these issues, and putting in place statements that everyone felt a share in creating and to which they were able to commit.

Anderson Business Development's first commission could have proved challenging for us both for a number of reasons, but mainly due to the fact that Karen was my predessor here at Clyde Valley. I needn't have worried however because, Karen's approach was business like, honest and nothing but supportive.
The commission was a Pre Inspection Assessment and the result was an exceptionally positive experience for staff, Board and customers alike. Thanks to Anderson Business Development, what we now have is a clear understanding of where we excel and where we need to improve as a business and Karen's contributing style was invaluable in achieving that result.
I now look forward to seeing Karen back here next year to see how we have lived up to the action plans she has helped this business develop.

Karen worked with EVH in developing this Briefing for the Scottish Centre for Regeneration. It has just been published, on time, on budget and to everyone's satisfaction.

Working with Karen Anderson on the "New Climate, New Challenges" paper was refreshing, thought-provoking and always interesting. The simplest way to put it is, that I would be happy to work with Karen on similar projects in the future.

The publication of New Climate, New Challenges was welcomed by Minister for Housing and Communities, Alex Neil when it was launched at CIH Scotland's annual conference in Glasgow: Housing policy is at a crossroad. Traditional methods of providing housing will need to change because of the scale of the new challenges - climate change, new lending climate, and squeeze on public funding. More than at anytime before, value for taxpayers' money will underpin the Government's investment in housing. I hope housing associations use Karen and Ken's work in their business planning meetings to look at the questions, and solutions, it raises and how they can be adapted to address problems.

Karen really added value to our Business Planning seminar. Our management team found it interesting to hear from an experienced and knowledgeable housing consultant. It is important during this time of change to listen to and engage with a range of people that understand the issues within the housing sector and who can explain clearly the impacts these issues may have on how we run our business.

Having been particularly impressed by the New Climate, New Challenges publication, of which Karen is a co-author, we were pleased to have Karen's help to focus on our purpose and future strategy, particularly given the current environment we are having to work in. I was pleased at the real progress we made in one particularly intensive session to identify key statements and issues which will enable us to complete our new Business Plan in the near future.
